Viral Case Study – Gucci Mane – I’m Back…….

Now you may be wondering why am I posting a Gucci Mane video? One – I actually kind of dig this track. Two – I (in addition to Mr. Muhammad) believe this was Gucci’s most effective video. Y? Because we actually watched the video and it resonated with us….. Moreover, it is a great example of using the web as a tool to touch consumers.
I’m not a fan of Gucci Mane @ all, but this video piqued my curiosity enough to see what’s really good with his music. The video a simple 2 min. dollop of Gucci’s swag ( I hate this word too… but it fits…). It somehow cut through the clutter and therefore I posted it. Cutting through the clutter, especially as an artist, is one of the most challenging aspects of utilizing the web as a resource. I will get more into cutting the clutter via another blog post.
