The Mountaintop starring: Sam Jackson and Angela Bassett

I got a chance to see ‘The Mountaintop’ over the weekend starring Samuel L. Jackson and Angela Bassett. Overall, I found it to be a very interesting piece of theater. I wouldn’t say I was blown away, but the play does spark a lot of debate around the ideas of who Dr. Martin Luther King really was a human being beyond how we perceive him in iconic terms. Moreover, presents the question what are we all doing to continue the legacy of Dr. King. My POV on the play is still developing. I’m sure I’ll have more feedback in a day or so…. -YG (@youngglobal)
