Great initiative being spearheaded in Massachusetts to encourage health eating and fight childhood obesity. I’m hoping that it is a success and becomes a nationawide program. READ HERE -!YG
I spoke to Dan Kim (CEO of Red Mango) a few days ago and he mentioned to me that he has been tweaking the Red Mango brand. He has made adjustments from the offerings (parfait and smoothies) to what seems (@least to me) like the taste of the actual fro-yo. Dan is testing out the Fro-YO / Smoothie concept in a few cities. Monday marked the start of NYC Restaurant Week Summer 2010. That means it is time for some fine dining and wine sipping. Restaurant Week runs until July 25th. Who knew cats was really getting gwop like that from selling noodles. They even got a conference for one the staples in my daily diet. Now I’ve seen it all… lol! I wonder if David Chang (Noodle Bar) was there. -!YG
The other day I was taking a stroll through Union Sq & stumbled upon this lil cupcake spot – Baked By Melissa. Baked By Melissa actually has been a staple in Soho for a few years now & they’ve opened their first official store on 14th street. I decided to venture in & try out the goods… I was pleasantly surprised.
