Converse Band of Ballers 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament
Yesterday I got a chance to attend the first annual Converse Band of Ballers 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament. The event launched the Converse Evo and featured teams led by Jim Jones, Asher Roth, Pac Div and many more. The turn out was crazy and the games were actually very competitive. My smart a** left my camera @ home, so I had to go to the Blackberry.
The highlight of the day for me was meeting Terry Richardson…. One of my favorite photags.. Who knew he was a fan of hoops…. I had a good time chatting with the beautiful chicas and watching a little bit of basketball.
I’ve even been inspired to start playing bball again. 🙂 A game that I loved growing up in the BX and lost interst in when I realized that league wasn’t in my future.. lol! After yesterday… I came to understand that basketball is about the love of the game and not the fame.
